on d making.....






The silky thread became my friend and i loved it tat it never got misplaced in a stitch.......awesomeness was the word i cud tell for the choice of the cloth......kudos to the shop worker tat he showed tis salwar material......

and the below pic is jus clicked by my beloved bro.......wow....i love d glossiness :D thank u anna...for having taken so much & much of my art wrks...... :D happy to be wid yo !!

Me and Sara have rounded up the whole t nagar to buy the clothing,design materials...& later i sketched the dress model and got this stitched up by a tailor in thiruvanmiyur for Dheekshu's bday............

& up next s the whole designing embroidery part...i really enjoyed those 2 days.....the new year eve went up wid this dress designing....the florals that cover up the whole silky cloth is my fav <3 ....likezzzz !!!

awesome day was that wen i wore it.......its my recent practice to wear new dress for my frens' bday..........so this s one for bharath's bday!!!..........(wid such bdays..im getting so many new suits thou!!)

dye making......feels great !!




truly sayin........... I gotta started experimenting with the vegetable dyes using mordant of alum (padikaaram in Tamil)............ Pity on the beet root...which turned to brown while boiling.......still im satisfied for having ventured some sort of dyeing.............

ha ha ... ll disturb u all wid my another idea....

Go green-->thermocol block prints :)

"THE ARTSY CRAFTSY CHALLENGE June 2010"
this is my very favourite experiment , that I made out of packing thermocol...


Green green...........tats the nature tends to be........come let us all go green by cycling and recycling too....let d mother nature feel cozy in our crafty hands...

again it takes me to the pretty cool card print......woo woo........

Crimson red.....that reflects freshness..the color of the heart and blood and everything that merges with love and has much of mirchi......so a floral card print here.....



As like u......i love black...& this s it
easy cut...square shaped thermocol...... a magical touch in a minute ll make ur cloth dimensional..

I had been posting my art works again......as a series of pics in a single post..........as i got damn kindered to compete in the artsy craftsy challenge for june month,..... & ya I love it :D And to say about the kids ages.....after u had done with the carving...its jus d stamping........so even a hardly 3 yr old can come out with amazing artifacts....

A few minutes....wow..tat ends in a magical cum dimensional curves...wat an uniformity tat brings to me......

Again with those handmade thermocol print stamps I poured a little of crimson red , for this floral card......and formed a pattern......my flowers for friendship !!

My experiments with art always do follow the go green theme right from 3 years bac....tats wen i did my first post...........ya.........so the theme is here.......wid a few prints made of packing thermocol on a card..........wats next.? JUST GO GREENER :D

My square shaped print...




tat was a perfect scene of "colour blend".....wen I tried on the print stamps( I carved with only knife on thermocol)with prussian blue acrylics on the yellow cloth my amma gave from the blouse bit remains... ha...I enjoy the color merge & was taken back to long years ago....wen I get surprised wid mixing colors and get the magic new color of those sketch pens.. !!
