VELVET PAPER ART
When I was studying in middle school level , I had a habit of giving my friends many greeting cards ,made by me .
Many chart papers were cut into different shapes and painted as well ,with some write ups . On those days we invent numerous types of papers to design our cards . We came to know about the velvet papers ,which have a similar smooth texture as that of velvet .
When you stick it on , it gives a embossed effect and the pattern is very nice .............

BEADED CHAINS
ok........today we are about to see the jewelry making in easy way .
The long beaded chains , bracelets , studs can be made with quite lot of patience .
I bought those bead stones from an art shop .
You have a wide range of such beads , take a thick string use different kinds of varieties in a single chain .
For studs you need the hook ,and ensure that the two beads you take are of the same inpression in it .
While making the bracelets , you can use a metal wire with hook or an elastic .
Try out many such patterns and shine like a star .

SHEET PAINTING & LIVE MODEL MAKING !!!
It is similar to the reverse glass technique ,and not only that.............it comprises the live model making of butterflies ,dragon flies etc...
THINGS YOU NEED:
OHP sheets (or very thick transparent covers) , marker pen , acrylic colors , green straw ,thin wires .
METHOD:
* draw the design of an insect (dragon fly seen in picture or butterflies ,etc.. ) in the transparent sheet with a black marker pen (draw in the reverse side of the sheet)
*similarly draw a flower in the sheet
*paint the flower with bright acrylic colors , and also color the insect
*let them dry for few minutes
*now cut the designs from the sheet
*bend or groove the flower and insect so that it bears a real look (bend the wings of fly slightly)
*make two small holes near the head of the insect
*insert the wire through the first hole , take it above ,insert it again in the next ,bend the end of the wire ,so that it does not come out of the holes .
*bisect the tip of the straw upto 2 cm ,separate them outwards like leaves ,similarly cut slightly in the straw in some other places
*now insert the long end of the wire into the green straw
*attach the flower to the tip of the straw
*bring out the wire to the bottom of the straw
*now our live model is ready...................
*when you drag the wire up and down , the dragon fly will tap its wings and it will look as if it drinks the nectar from the flower.....................
FABRIC PAINTING....................
I used acrylic colors in this cloth (a green colored silk cotton) .
#To paint such a cloth(cotton or poly cotton) , you need to be aware of , whether the cloth is washed once prior (otherwise the colour you painted would get washed along with the starch content in the cloth when soaked in water............ )
#Dilute the colours well , as they had to blend in one with the yarns of the cotton cloth , so deeply .
#For synthetic clothes ,you can even use the colours directly(without even mixing water)!!!!!
4 easy steps to paint in your fabric:-
*make the area of the cloth to be painted with the wooden frame............(if you dont have it then iron/ press well to get rid of the shrinking ) !!
*draw the design on the cloth very lightly using a pencil or chalk .........if you are painting on a dark shaded cloth then use white carbon and trace
*all are set ready , paint the design ,fill the total part from inside and design the border very nicely with more concentration!!
*replace the used water frequently ,so that your painting gets a very neat look !!!!!

HAND EMBROIDERY !!
The very tricky and also simplest type of embroidery comes under this........
For this you need not go for a sewing machine or even a specific type of needle . Just do it with the sewing needle you have in home .
I used thick embroidery and golden colored threads for this design . The simplest stitch(running stitch) is done and later the yarn is creeped through the already made running stitch ,alternatively.
couching stitch is done with the golden thread . The central part of the peacock feather (called as "Eye") is done with laid stitch .
Later the kundan stones are pasted with fabric glue..............
Try this and feel the beauty of the work you created..........!!

SALWAR DESIGNS I MADE...........
I am fond of creating designs on salwar with "themes" ............the concept is to fit into a dress that reflects a bit more beautiful ,as the color mingles with a bond in the design you make.
Here is my "Peacock " themed salwar in which I have used the deep violet colored silk cotton cloth ,after stitching it I embroidered it with a peacock feather in front , neck parts worked on with kundan stones ..............The hand embroidery I wish to do ever!!!
To match it very nicely , I selected a double shaded green dupattah(shawl) and did fabric painting on it.......
what are you searching for ???? About the method of enbroidery and painting................I will tell you then...........
WATER COLOR USED FOR GLASS PAINTING!!
This baby krishna painting is done using a marker pen(instead of glass out liner) and student water colors .
you can try this even on big glasses , but keep in mind not to touch the painted areas.............as it may get wiped up............
